PHOENIX — It’s time to start clearing your calendar for summer concerts: Singer Kesha and rapper Macklemore announced Monday they will play a June show in Phoenix.
In a press release, the pair said they would kick off the Adventures of Kesha and Macklemore Tour at Ak-Chin Pavilion near 83rd Avenue and Interstate 10 on June 6.
The pair also filmed a funny video announcing the tour. (WARNING: LINK CONTAINS FOUL LANGUAGE)
Tickets for the show will be available for Citi cardholders through a presale that was expected to begin at noon on Wednesday. The presale will end Thursday.
They go on sale to the general public on Friday at noon Arizona time.
No ticket pricing information was immediately available.
Kesha will donate $1 for each ticket sold to the Rape, Abuse, & Incest National Network, the largest anti-sexual assault organization in the country.
Macklemore will donate $1 from each ticket to M Plus1, a group that works to advance racial and social justice causes.
The 30-city tour will make a handful of other stops relatively close to the Valley. The pair will play in Inglewood, California on June 8, Las Vegas on June 9 and Denver on June 17.
