PHOENIX — In a recent survey, 68.46 percent of small businesses across the state of Arizona were optimistic about the economy.
According to the report from the Phoenix Business Journal, that was good for the second highest percentage of any state in the nation behind only Washington.
The Thumbtack survey cited by the report gives Arizona strong ratings in two of their categories including health and safety and overall friendliness. In 2016 Arizona received the highest rating possible in the category for training and networking programs.
As a city, Phoenix small businesses expressed a 69.07 percent level of optimism and finished fourth behind Seattle, Orlando and Houston.
Overall, 69.07 of businesses felt positively about their own individual business, which was a boost of 5.86 percent from a year ago.
