PHOENIX — The FBI Bank Robbery Task Force is asking for the public’s help to identify three men they believe robbed three Phoenix-area banks.

Authorities believe the men could be linked to the three separate robberies that began on Oct. 27 at the First Bank near 19th and Glendale avenues.

On Nov. 24, two men wearing hooded sweatshirts and bandanas entered Desert Schools Federal Credit Union with handguns and demanded money near 7th Street and Thunderbird Road.

The latest robbery, on Dec. 1., was where the Arizona Federal Credit Union was robbed at gunpoint near 55th and Northern avenues.

The suspects took an undisclosed amount of cash in each incident.

The men are described as 5 feet 8 inches to 6 feet tall and have an average build. Both men are believed to be in their 20s or 30s. The men have worn hooded sweatshirts and bandanas in each of the incidents.

Desert Schools Federal Credit Union is offering a reward of up to $10,000 for original information leading to the conviction of the suspects who are responsible for the robberies.

Anyone with information about this case is encouraged to contact the FBI at 623-466-1999, Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS or submit a tip online.

We want to hear from you.
