Cyber Monday: Projected sales and comical Twitter reactions

PHOENIX – Cyber Monday has caused people all over the country race to online retailers to snag some of the best deals after Black Friday weekend.
Sales for 2017 are projected to be upwards of $6.6 billion, which would set a record for the highest total for a single day ever in U.S. e-commerce history.
According to Adobe Digital Insights, as of 8 a.m. Cyber Monday shoppers had spent $840 million, which is up 16.9 percent from 2016. The figures stem from the groups tracking of over 80 percent of the spending on some of the largest retailer websites in the country.
Don’t worry if you have been one of the few trying to fight the urge to drain your bank account like millions of others. There is still time to catch some of the best deals.
