Temper tantrums welcome at new venue in Tempe

Nov 15, 2017, 4:15 AM

PHOENIX – Need to release some pent-up aggression? A new venue in Tempe has the perfect solution.

Opened on Nov. 10, the Simply Smashing Rage Release Room encourages its visitors to smash, break and destroy everything provided to release built-up anger and stress.

Packages range from a single person room for $28 to a party pack for $99 which allows up to four people per room.

In 20-minute sessions, guests enter a room filled with breakable items ranging from glass-ware to electronics. Baseball bats, hockey stick, golf clubs and more are filled in the room to be used as tools of destruction.

Patrons also have the option to bring their own items to destroy.

Along with the tools and items for destruction, each room also includes a Bluetooth speaker for music during the session. Of course, safety is a main concern.

Each guest is fitted with coveralls, heavy-duty gloves and protective goggles or a face shield to avoid injury.

The rage room is located in the heart of Tempe just two minutes from the Arizona State campus.

For more information and hours of the Simply Smashing Rage Release Room, visit the companies Facebook page.
