Watch as speeders from ‘Star Wars’ cruise through New York City

We’ve seen a couple of pranks that were out of this world in our time, but this one is straight from a galaxy far, far away.
YouTube personality Jesse Wellens — along with a lot of help from his friends, other YouTube celebrities, a production company and even a drone pilot — built replicas of the speeders flown in the classic “Star Wars” film “Return of the Jedi,” mounted them on bikes and drove them around New York City.
And it. Was. Awesome.
Wellens and a woman donned uniforms much like those worn by the Rebel Alliance troopers in the movie and hopped on the bikes, which were designed to look like they were floating.
People on the street seemed to get a pretty big kick out of the speeders, as the video featured plenty of shots of people pulling out their phones to snap a photo.
Be sure to watch the entire video, as you don’t want to miss the epic chase scene as another YouTuber, Casey Neistat, joins in dressed as a stormtrooper.
The video ends with everyone getting pulled over by police and arrested, though Neistat runs off while yelling, “Happy Halloween!”
But don’t worry. A behind-the-scenes video (WARNING: LINK CONTAINS FOUL LANGUAGE) revealed the arrest was a joke.
