Warning: If you are afraid of clowns, they you might want to shy away from this video.
Burger King has hopped on the scary clown train that has been most recently popularized by the horror film “It” in its latest advertisement.
The 1-minute, 30-second long ad shows a young man leaving his house in the middle of the night. The man then gets on his bike to go somewhere and almost immediately begins encountering spooky occurrences.
At first, he is followed by one clown on a tricycle, but shortly after, a swarm of clowns descend upon him.
He goes to a nearby Burger King to escape the clown posse but alas, inside the restaurant all he finds are more clowns.
The ad ends on a singular message: “Come as a clown, eat like a king.”
The commercial is actually an advertisement for Burger King’s upcoming “Scary Clown Night.”
On “Scary Clown Night,” the first 500 people to sport a Pennywise-inspired costume on Halloween will earn a free Whopper.
Unfortunately, the deal is not offered in Arizona, but Burger King fanatics can travel to participating restaurants in Los Angeles or Salt Lake City to get a taste of the famed burger.
