PHOENIX — Phoenix-area residents will soon be able to pick up their medical marijuana without leaving the comfort of their vehicle.

All Greens Dispensary, Arizona’s first drive-thru marijuana dispensary, will open at 5 p.m. on Friday in Sun City.

The dispensary is former bank, complete with a walk-in safe, bullet-resistant glass and a former bank teller window that will now serve as a marijuana repository.

And if you are not able to get in your car to get your prescription, no worries: All Greens also offers free delivery across the Valley for orders over $100.

All patients have to do is place their order online or over the phone and provide basic information. Once the marijuana is delivered, patients need to provide a proof of identification, as well as their medical marijuana card.

The dispensary also offers daily in-house specials seven days a week. It is open from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. everyday.

Bret Idaspe, sales director at All Greens Dispensary, said he started the business with one goal in mind: To get away from what he calls the “Cheech and Chong Syndrome.”

“We want to get away from that stereotype, that stigma,” he said. “This is a professional medical marijuana dispensary and that is how we prefer to act.”

All Greens Dispensary will fill and package medical marijuana prescriptions and have them ready to go for each individual patient.

Idaspe said they chose the location because it instilled all the same aspects that the bank projected: Safety, professionalism and service.

“When we were able to secure this bank for our new dispensary, we thought the drive-thru was the perfect way for these people to make it easier to get their medicine,” he said.

Since the dispensary is located in Sun City, Idaspe said he knew the business would be serving a large number of retired individuals, so the drive-thru would allow them to stay in their air-conditioned cars when getting their medicine.

“We’re very excited about having the first [drive-thru] dispensary and to be able to help our patients out,” he said.

The grand-opening event will take place at 5 p.m. on Friday and will include live music, discounted pricing, a raffle and an on-site doctor who will be able to answer questions and prescribe medical marijuana cards.

We want to hear from you.
