PHOENIX — The upcoming Innings Festival in Tempe announced its lineup on Wednesday and said tickets would go on sale later this week.

The 36-band lineup has some heavy hitters, such as country star Chris Stapleton and rockers Queens of the Stone Age, along with some local acts, including the Gin Blossoms.

The full lineup can be seen in the slideshow below.

The inaugural festival, set to be held March 23-25, will bring together music, baseball, food, activities and appearances by professional baseball players at Tempe Beach Park, located near Rio Salado Parkway and Mill Avenue.

General admission tickets were scheduled to go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday. Prices started at $159 plus taxes and fees for a three-day pass.

VIP tickets — which include complimentary beer and water — start at $499 for all three days.

A third ticket class, platinum, started at $999. Those tickets included all VIP amenities, plus a catered dinner, complimentary full bar and on-stage viewing for some artists.

General admission single-day passes were priced at $95, not including taxes and fees. VIP entry was priced at $225, while platinum passes were $599.

Baseball fans from Chicago, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Denver, Kansas City, Los Angeles, Milwaukee, Oakland, San Diego, San Francisco, Seattle and Texas will also get a taste of home at this music festival, when their teams come to Arizona to play in spring training.

The lineup announcement came days after another inaugural festival, Lost Lake, wrapped things up in Phoenix. More than 45,00 people attended.

We want to hear from you.
