PHOENIX — Country singer Kenny Chesney will bring his Trip Around the Sun stadium tour to Phoenix’s Chase Field next year, the star announced this week.

Chesney will play the downtown baseball park June 23. Tickets were scheduled to go on sale Oct. 27, but presale for fan club members began Wednesday, the same day the tour was announced.

“There’s nothing like a stadium full of people coming together to remind you what life’s about. The energy, the moments, the fun,” Chesney said in a video about the tour.

“Every single one of these artists who’re coming out with us for Trip Around the Sun live their lives the exact same way: They work hard, they appreciate what they’re given, and they love music every bit as much as they love life. I, personally, can’t wait to see this show hit the road.”

The road show kicks off April 21 in Tampa, Florida. Arizona native Dierks Bentley was tapped to join Chesney for the Aug. 24 finale in Foxboro, Massachusetts, just outside of Boston.

Other western states on the calendar were Denver, Colorado on June 30 and Seattle, Washington on Aug. 7.

We want to hear from you.
