PHOENIX — Arizona-raised violinist Lindsey Stirling has had a busy 24 hours.

On Tuesday, she announced an upcoming Christmas music album and tour and, on Wednesday, it was revealed that she would appear on the next season of “Dancing with the Stars.”

Stirling’s Christmas album will be called “Warmer in the Winter.” The album was available through a preorder sale, but no release date was given.

The violinist will tour to promote the album and will make her home state the final stop. She was scheduled to play at Comerica Theater in downtown Phoenix on Dec. 23.

A ticket presale was scheduled to begin Thursday at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster. VIP tickets were also available.

Those unable to catch the show could tune into this season of  “Dancing with the Stars,” though we doubt Stirling would be showing her dance moves paired with a violin.

Instead, Variety said she would be paired with with Mark Ballas, who has won the show twice.

The 25th season of “Dancing with the Stars” was scheduled to premiere Sept. 18.

Stirling has enjoyed another surge in recognition this year. She claimed her second Billboard Award in May and was the focus of a YouTube Red documentary that debuted the same month.

We want to hear from you.
