PHOENIX — County music star Shania Twain will have cowboy boots tapping when she brings her “Now” tour to Phoenix next year.
LiveNation said Twain was scheduled to play a concert on July 30 at Talking Stick Resort Arena in downtown Phoenix.
Tickets for the show were expected to go on sale to the general public Aug. 25 at 10 a.m. A presale for American Express cardholders was set to run Aug. 22 at 10 a.m. to Aug. 24 at 10 p.m.
The Phoenix concert will be one of the last shows Twain plays on her North American tour. It was scheduled to begin May 3 in Tacoma, Wash. and wrap up Aug. 4 in Las Vegas.
Those unable to make the Valley show could travel to a few relatively nearby locations to catch Twain live. In addition to the Las Vegas date, she was scheduled to play in Denver on July 27, Salt Lake City on July 28 and Los Angeles on Aug. 3.
The tour was to promote Twain’s new album, also called “Now,” that was expected to be released Sept. 29. Fans can preorder the album.
Twain has won five Grammy Awards. She has sold more than 90 million albums worldwide and is the top-selling female country artist of all time.
