PHOENIX — Rainfall and blowing dust made their way across the greater Phoenix area on Tuesday night after rain struck the Valley several times in July.
On the first day in August, upper northeast parts of the greater Phoenix area — near New River and Cave Creek — saw rain totals upwards of two-thirds of an inch in the mid-afternoon. But as of the end of the business day, Phoenix itself had not seen measurable rain.
There was, however, blowing dust.
