You thought your last monsoon storm to hit your neighborhood was bad, but be grateful you were not in what appeared to be a hotel lobby in Istanbul, Turkey on Thursday.
During a recent storm, a video captured the revolving doors turning wildly as a storm produced wind gusts of up to 60 mph.
The region has had its fair share of severe weather of late. Storms pummeled Turkey’s most populous city with golf ball sized hail and just under an inch of rain that fell in 12 hours, which is a lot for a city that only averages 1.33 inches of rain for July.
The storms caused 230 trees to be uprooted and destroyed 90 roofs.
