Police arrest man suspected of setting Phoenix LGBTQ center on fire

PHOENIX — Police have arrested a man suspected of setting a Phoenix center for LGBTQ youth ablaze.
In a Friday email, the Phoenix Police Department said it had arrested 26-year-old Darren William Beech Jr.
Beech was accused of using a can of gasoline to set a fire inside the One N Ten Youth Center near Third Street and Osborn Road on July 12.
Police said Beech was arrested at his apartment.
He faces one charge of arson of an occupied structure.
