Main Street Minute: Glendale pillow store gives to homeless housing

• My Pillow bedding store at Arrowhead Towne Center in Glendale is donating 300 pillows to Phoenix nonprofit Homeward Bound on Wednesday. The pillows will go the transitional housing development for homeless families near Interstate 17 and Colter Street.
•The Scottsdale Police Department is beefing up its traffic and DUI enforcement patrols after receiving a grant from the Governor’s Office of Highway Safety. The department will buy two tech-enhanced motorcycles.
• A boutique fitness franchise is expanding in the Valley. The Phoenix Business Journal reports Club Pilates will open a second site in Scottsdale this month. The new place will be near Scottsdale Road and Shea Boulevard. There are already seven Club Pilates studios in metro Phoenix.
