NASA’s latest Mars rover vehicle needs a name — and the government agency is asking for your help to come up with the moniker.
Since its inception, the Mars rover program has seen multiple, small robotic vehicles roam the planet Mars to take pictures, geological samples and other data. This new massive vehicle was unveiled in a NASA video.
The #NametheRover promotion began on Monday.

“The Mars 2020 rover is part the agency’s Mars Exploration Program, which includes the Opportunity and Curiosity rovers, the Odyssey and Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter spacecraft currently orbiting the planet, and the MAVEN orbiter, which is set to arrive at the Red Planet in September and will study the Martian upper atmosphere,” NASA’s website said.
So, what do you think the rover should be called?
