PHOENIX — A pilot was forced to make an emergency landing of a small plane Monday just north of Phoenix.
The Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office said the pilot was flying solo and landed in the desert area of New River. He waved off medical treatment. There were no injuries on the ground, either, authorities said.
