PHOENIX — A collapsed roof has forced a roller skating rink in Phoenix to shut down for the foreseeable future.
Staffers at Rollero Family Skating Center near 73rd Avenue and Indian School Road tweeted out late Tuesday that no one was injured in the accident. Part of roof caved in after hours, they said.
Due to unforseen circumstances Rollero will be closed until further notice.

Phoenix Fire Department Capt. Larry Subervi said the cause of the collapse was under investigation. He said the building had a bowstring-type roof, which were popular before the 1960s.
The family-owned Rollero rink has been in business over 34 years, according to the website.
The rink had already begun its summertime program and was available to host birthday parties, school functions and corporate events.
The family thanked customers and other for their concern in a Facebook post.
