Main Street Minute: Bring in water donations for free car wash

KTAR’s Main Street Minute focuses on local businesses that are hiring, opening and hosting events across the community. These stories air each weekday on KTAR at 7:27 a.m.

• Starting Thursday, anyone who either buys or brings a case of bottled water to any Jacksons Car Wash (to be donated to the Salvation Army) will receive a free express car wash. The promotion runs through the end of June.

• Phoenix Police, the Arizona Department of Corrections, Roosevelt School District, Chick-fil-A and Marriott Vacation Club are just a few of the employers taking part in a job fair Thursday in Phoenix. The event runs from 4:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. at First Pentecostal Church near 24th Street and Broadway Road.

• Business Real Estate Weekly of Arizona reports luxury apartments in north Scottsdale have been sold for $50 million. The new owners of the 187-unit View at Cascade near Scottsdale Road and Loop 101 are from Seattle.
