PHOENIX — A Silver Alert was cancelled Friday after a man reported missing in an eastern suburb of Phoenix was found.
The Arizona Department of Public Safety said 83-year-old Donald Raymond Jones had been last seen about 10:15 a.m. at his home near Superstition Boulevard and Meridian Drive.
Jones has been diagnosed with dementia and other medial issues. He has also been known to hitchhike and wander off in the past.
Jones stands 5-foot-11 but has a hunched back and weighs 170 pounds. He has gray receding hair and brown eyes.
He had been last seen wearing a blue-striped, button-up shirt, tan polyester pants, white shoes and glasses. He was carrying a wallet with identification, though with no money.
