Silver Alert cancelled for missing Mesa woman who suffers from dementia

PHOENIX — A Silver Alert has been cancelled for Lorene Masters, an 89-year-old woman who went missing from Mesa on Friday.
Sgt. Diana Williams, a spokeswoman with the Mesa Police Department, said Masters was located in a residential backyard in east Mesa around 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
Williams said Masters is doing well and will be reunited with her family.

According to police, Masters was last seen near Recker and Main on Friday around 12:30 p.m.
Masters is described as a 5-foot, 6-inch-tall white woman with green eyes and white hair.
She was last seen wearing a dark blue floral print shirt, blue pants and white tennis shoes and uses a red-seated walker.
Masters also suffers from dementia.
