Two Arizona spots make list of best US taco shops

PHOENIX — We may have news you’re looking for on Taco Tuesday: Two Arizona eateries have been named among the nation’s 50 best taco spots.
Mucha Lucha Taco Shop, located near McKellips and Miller roads in Scottsdale, came in at No. 12 on the list compiled by Business Insider and Yelp. The other top taco spot — El Paraiso Tacos and Burgers in Kingman — came in at No. 10.
The publication didn’t offer a lot of details as to how it went about making its list — only having two Arizona spots seems a bit criminal, after all — so we scrolled through some Yelp comments to give you a better idea about the places.
“Simple order-at-the-counter type of place but the flavor options and meat is so so so good,” wrote Yelper Elizabeth M about Mucha Lucha.
“I wanted to go back for more! The burritos truly stand head and shoulders above the ‘normal’ Mexican place,” another user, Michael K., wrote, also about Mucha Lucha.
Yelp users complimented both the menu and prices at El Paraiso, with most saying it’s a welcome stop within a five-minute drive of Interstate 40.
“I was driving through town on I-40 and was craving Mexican food,” user Zachary P. wrote. “I’m so glad [I] went a few minutes out of my way to stop at this place.”
However, some complained it was a little cramped, so you may have to wait a bit to grab a seat while you grab a bite.
