Main Street Minute: Phoenix library to host free garden workshop

KTAR’s Main Street Minute focuses on local businesses that are hiring, opening and hosting events across the community. These stories air each weekday on KTAR at 7:27 a.m.
• There’s a free garden workshop Thursday in central Phoenix. The focus of the Keep Phoenix Beautiful presentation is how to choose the right plants for your landscape. Class starts at 6:30 p.m. at the Burton Barr Library. Sign-ups are available online or by email.
• Domino’s is holding a job fair Thursday in the East Valley. The national pizza chain is looking for assistant managers and delivery drivers. The interviews are running from 1 p.m. until 6 p.m. at its store near Dobson and Broadway roads in Mesa.
• Dog lovers, the Arizona Diamondbacks are letting fans bring their four-legged friends to Chase Field for 21 games this season. The ticket package allows four people and their best pet friend to watch 21 Sunday or Monday games on the PetSmart patio with 30 doggie suites. Food includes all-you-can-eat classic baseball fare and doggie ice cream sundaes.
