Main Street Minute: Sandwich chain offering discount passes to Phoenix water park

• Beating the summer heat is about to get cheaper. Discount passes worth up to $20 each for Wet ‘n’ Wild Phoenix are available at Subway shops in Maricopa County. No purchase is necessary. The water park will support the nonprofit Subway Kids and Sports of Arizona by donating a dollar from each coupon that is redeemed. The discount passes are available through July 31 and expire Oct. 15.
• CVS is holding a daylong hiring event Monday. The drug store giant is looking for billing and collections representatives to work at its Phoenix finance facility. Candidates will be interviewed from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m. near 44th and Van Buren streets.
• Chase, State Farm and Honor Health are just a few of the more than two dozen employers taking part in a job fair Monday in the East Valley. It runs from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. at Tempe Center for the Arts on Rio Salado Parkway between Priest Drive and Mill Avenue.
