The Academy Awards are on Sunday, which means fans of the awards show will be eagerly anticipating the winners of the night’s biggest awards: Best Picture, Best Actress, Best Actor, etc.
But one of the most overlooked awards is one that can really make or break a movie: Best Cinematography.
The Best Cinematography award is unique because it doesn’t cover acting, music or special effects. Instead, the award is all about imagery.
And thanks to YouTuber Burger Fiction, we can relive every single Best Cinematography winner since 1927. So sit back and relax — and make sure to compare these winners to Sunday’s.
In the meantime, review which actors and movies are up for the biggest awards of the night.
