PHOENIX — Valentine’s Day is tomorrow, but if you’re still racking your brain, searching for overly romantic ways to spoil your loved one this year, don’t worry.
Just take them to Scottsdale, which was recently ranked among the most romantic cities in the United States by Travel and Leisure.
Scottsdale is home to some of the state’s most romantic restaurants, including Cafe Monarch, Tesoro Ristorante Italiano and Eddie V’s Prime Seafood.
The best part? You can even get romance — with a view!
Toro Latin Restaurant and Rum Bar, Talavera and Chart House are just a couple of the high-end, romantic restaurants in Scottsdale with elegant views of water features and mountain tops.
Others that ranked among the most romantic included cities ranging from Chicago, to San Diego, to Savannah, to Lahaina.
But the title of most romantic city in the U.S. went to a game-changer: Oklahoma City.
The ranking was determined by OpenTable “to provide a ranking of cities where romantic dining is inherently part of the culture,” according to the company.
The reservation site used the percentage of restaurants rated “romantic” online, the percentage of tables reserved for two and the percentage of people who dined out for Valentine’s Day last year, the magazine said.
And if you’re looking to take that next step this Valentine’s Day, Scottsdale was also ranked among the best places to get married.
So what are you waiting for? Sweep your loved one off their feet with a romantic night they won’t forget — and one that won’t drive you insane trying to plan.
