Lockdown lifted at Arizona Air Force base after reported gunshots

PHOENIX — An Air Force base in southern Arizona was put on lockdown for about an hour Monday after possible gunshots were heard.
In a tweet, Davis-Monthan Air Force Base said it went on lockdown about 10:20 a.m.
The base is currently in lockdown. There are unconfirmed reports of gunshot sounds. Seek shelter immediately. More updates to come.

The lockdown was lifted a little after 11:30 a.m.

In a release, the base said it was investigating the source of the possible gunshot sounds.
