Main Street Minute: Maricopa County hiring nurses, attorneys, engineers

KTAR’s Main Street Minute focuses on local businesses that are hiring, opening and hosting events across the community. These stories air each weekday on KTAR at 7:27 a.m.
• Maricopa County has dozens of job openings, including accountants, attorneys, engineers, nurses and programmers. Applications are being accepted online.
• A restaurant scheduled to open next month in north Scottsdale is kicking off a two-day job fair Monday. Liberty Station is hiring up to 40 people to work in the front and the back of the restaurant. The hiring event runs on site from 10 a.m. until noon and 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. near Scottsdale Road and the Carefree Highway.
• An energy-efficient home community is joining the Valley scene. Keystone Homes plans to build 39 luxury, Energy Star- certified homes in Carefree. The home will have tankless water heaters, dual-pane windows and more. Home prices start near $500,000.
