For the sixth year in a row, YouTube has used its own platform to look back on the following year, mashing together the year’s hottest songs, most viral videos and biggest creators.
The annual Rewind video takes viewers back through the best of 2016, including anything and everything from Fifth Harmony’s “Work From Home,” to the once-viral Pokemon Go and beyond.
The video also featured some of YouTube’s biggest creators, such as vlogger — short for video blogger — and filmmaker Casey Neistat, YouTube newbie Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and carpool karaoke king James Corden.
If this is not enough of a throwback for you, or you need a little refresher before watching the video, stroll down memory lane with the year’s most viral videos and top music videos on YouTube.
