PHOENIX — Christmas is only days away, but that doesn’t mean everyone has put the finishing touches on their gifts for the holiday.
An Amazon Prime Now facility in Phoenix is helping those procrastinators, especially considering it can deliver something from a selection of tens of thousands of items in as little as one hour.
“Everything from eggs and cake mix to gifts,” Angie Newman with Amazon said.
A new Prime Now hub is located near 48th and Washington streets. It is one of four such hubs in the Valley.
Newman said the one-hour-delivery concept has been growing by leaps and bounds. People can find most anything, she said.
“Everything from disco balls to chocolate – the inventory changes regularly.”
Some of the most popular Phoenix items include bananas, orange juice and water.
Prime Now is delivering through midnight on Saturday.
