PHOENIX — Glendale Police Department is reporting that early morning around 3:30 a.m. on Sunday, Dec. 4, a motorcycle officer collided with a pedestrian west of 99th Ave. and Glendale Ave.
Reports indicate that the pedestrian was in a dark area of the road when they were hit. Currently, there are no explanations as to why the pedestrian was in the roadway, and it was determined that speed and impairment were not factors in the accident.
Both the officer and pedestrian were transported to a local hospital, where the pedestrian is being treated for a possible life-threatening injury.
