Arizona Snowbowl announces it will open after past delays

FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. — The recent high temperatures caused unforeseen delays at Arizona Snowbowl, but the popular ski resort in northern Arizona tweeted that they will indeed Saturday, Nov. 19.

“Thanks to the hard-working mountain team who have been working around the clock making snow and grooming the slopes, we are excited to announce that Arizona Snowbowl will open for the ski season at 10 a.m. today with our new high-speed, six-person lift,” Arizona Snowbowl’s general manager J.R. Murray stated in a press release.
It was previously reported that Arizona Snowbowl would open on Nov. 18, but again, the weather did not cooperate. However, it seems the projected cold front during Thanksgiving week has clearly arrived, and now winter-enthusiasts can plan on enjoying the festivities of the resort.
