PHOENIX — President-elect Donald Trump is reportedly planning a victory tour of several states, likely including Arizona, to celebrate last week’s election win.

The Hill reports that he is planning to tour states where he won.

George Gigicos, the Trump campaign’s advance team director, said groundwork is being done for the president-elect’s first trip.

“We’re working on a victory tour now. It will happen in the next couple of weeks,” Gigicos said at Trump Tower, according to a pool report.

Gigicos told the publication that the tour will also include several swing states claimed by the president-elect on Election Day.

Other details about the tour were unclear.

Trump won Arizona by about 5 percent of the vote.

The historically red state favored Trump in polls for months before quickly transitioning into a toss-up in the weeks leading up to the electionA poll just before Election Day from NBC News, the Wall Street Journal and Marist had Trump holding a 5 percent advantage in the state despite Hillary Clinton’s large push over the summer.

The president-elect is hardly a stranger to Arizona. He campaigned seven times in the state since announcing his candidacy last year.

Trump may also be looking at several former Arizona officials to fill roles in his Cabinet.
