PHOENIX — Does your Thanksgiving travel include flying somewhere? Now you will have a new transportation option if you are flying out of Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport.
The airport recently began offering valet parking at Terminal 4, which according to the Phoenix Business Journal, accounts for about 80 percent of the airport’s traffic.
According to the publication, travelers can opt for the drive-up service in the terminal’s garage or a reservation-only valet with drop-off at the curb. Prices can range from $30-$32 and the service is operated by Scottsdale-based Epic Valet.
“This is a service that our travelers have frequently requested,” Jim Bennett, director of aviation services said in a statement. “Since our goal is to deliver world-class customer service, we are excited to offer this new convenience.”
The new feature, which was first talked about in July 2015, comes after the airport changed its 30-year ground transportation policy to include ride-sharing services such as Uber and Lyft.
Sky Harbor joins other major airports, such as those in Dallas, Denver, Las Vegas, San Diego and Chicago, in offering valet parking.
