There were reports of police investigating an unattended package, but the airport only said it was looking into an “item.”
Police are checking out an item as a precaution. We will provide more updates as they become available.

The airport later said police were looking into an item at the C Security Checkpoint.
Normal operations resumed about 11 a.m.
Greg Royval said the security checkpoints at the A and D gates were open during the incident.
“Passengers are still able to use the other two checkpoints in Terminal 4 to access their gates,” he said.
Some outlets reported portions of Terminal 4 were being evacuated, by ABC News reported that was untrue.

The airport said it worked with airlines and at least one, Southwest, agreed to hold its flights while the situation was sorted out.
We are working with the airlines and are told that Southwest is holding their flights at this time.
