PHOENIX — With the general election only days away, Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump’s campaign is making another push in Arizona.

His campaign confirmed Thursday that Trump’s son, Donald Jr., would host a rally Friday morning in Gilbert. U.S. Sen. Orrin Hatch (R-Utah) will also appear at the rally.

The event will be held at the Gilbert Water Tower Plaza near Elliot and Gilbert roads at 10:45 a.m.

Trump Jr. was in Arizona last week as well. He hosted a rally at Arizona State University in Tempe and helped push a disabled car off the road.

Prior to last week’s event, Trump Jr. spoke live with KTAR News 92.3 FM’s Arizona’s Morning News, where he discussed the rising Obamacare costs in the state.

“Some of these people with the silver and the bronze plans have to be hit by a bus just to be able to get any kind of coverage because their deductible starts at $10,000,” he said. “If that’s a lot for me, that’s a lot for the average American.”

Hatch has been in office since 1977 and is the most senior Republican in the Senate. He was a candidate for the Republican presidential nomination in 2000. He has taken a strong stance against Obamacare and is an advocate for border security.

State Sen. Andy Biggs will also attend the rally. He is running for Congress in Arizona’s 5th Congressional District.

KTAR’s Jeremy Foster contributed to this report.
