1 hurt in shooting at Salt Lake City courthouse

A man appearing before a federal judge in Salt Lake City was shot and critically wounded after he rushed the witness stand.
A U.S. marshal shot the defendant, Siale Angilau, at least once in the chest.
Angilau was one of 17 suspected gang members facing racketeering charges.
According to KSL, police responded to a shooting inside a courtroom.
A spokeswoman for the U.S. Attorney’s
Office of Utah said the shooting took place in a hearing.
