• A Valley resort recently wrapped up a big renovation project. The Pointe Hilton Tapatio Cliffs Resort shelled out $8.5 million for improvements to over 500 rooms at the north Phoenix site.
• A new exhibit is set to open at the Arizona Capitol Museum. The secretary of state’s office will unveil “Arizona State Courts: The Judicial Branch” on Tuesday at 1:30 p.m.
• Scottsdale’s Kierlands Village Center has been sold to a Chicago-based group for nearly $35 million, according to the Phoenix Business Journal. Tenants of the center near 64th Street and Greenway Road include Safeway, Walgreens and Panda Express.
