Main Street Minute: Arizona city hiring police, firefighter

KTAR’s Main Street Minute focuses on local businesses that are hiring, opening and hosting events across the community. These stories air each weekday on KTAR at 7:27 a.m.

• The city of Casa Grande has openings for police officer and firefighter. Online recruitment ends Oct. 11 for the police opening and Oct. 12 for the fire department position.

• Bashas’ is celebrating the grand reopening of its newly remodeled store in Carefree with a ribbon-cutting Wednesday morning. The festivities will continue Saturday morning for the first 200 shoppers who spend $50 or more. They will receive a free bag of groceries.
