Main Street Minute: Mesa brings back movies-in-park series this weekend

KTAR’s Main Street Minute focuses on local businesses that are hiring, opening and hosting events across the community. These stories air each weekday on KTAR at 7:27 a.m.
• The city of Mesa’s free family movie series returns Saturday at 7 p.m. The opening movie, “Tangled Ever After” will be shown at Monterey Park. Moviegoers are encouraged to walk or bike to the park.
• Fast-food chain Raising Cane’s is kicking off a two-day job fair. The popular chicken joint is looking to hire 50 people for its new store near Val Vista Drive and Williams Field Roads in Gilbert. The hiring event runs from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. Friday and Saturday at the Hampton Inn near Pecos Road and Val Vista Drive.
