PHOENIX — Anyone in Arizona who is curious as to how the races are going on election night can go online to find out almost immediately.

Arizona Secretary of State Michele Reagan said a new reporting system for voting results will be up and running for Tuesday’s primary.

Reagan’s office said her technology team has launched an enhanced website to reveal voting returns from all 15 counties.

The page will update statewide results in real-time, Reagan said.

Users won’t have to keep refreshing the page to get the newest numbers and will be able to choose only the races that interest them.

Polls close at 7 p.m. and the page will begin to show the figures a little after 8 p.m.

“Our in-house technology team developed the site to eliminate the problems voters experienced in 2012 and 2014 and make it easier for people to view race results,” Reagan said in a statement.

Reagan added the state saved money by having its own team develop the site.

Voters can find polling places online.

The last voting period, the state’s March presidential preference, was a nightmare for Valley voters and Arizona election officials.

Voters faced excessively long lines in the heat because of so few polling places and incorrect ballots.

Maricopa County had 60 polling places for that election. The number has jumped to over 600 for Tuesday.
