Actor Joseph Gordon-Levitt treats subway riders to drum solo

Joseph Gordon-Levitt, who is known more for his acting than his musical skills, gave some subway riders a little treat recently in the form of a drum solo.
The “Inception” and “The Dark Knight Rises” star is shown dressed in a nice suit and sitting quietly at a drum set in the middle of subway platforms before his short solo begins.
While most people simply wonder what’s going on — be honest, you would be a little confused if a drummer started playing while you were heading to work — one rider was extremely impressed.
At the end of the video, he can be heard telling Gordon-Levitt, “Yo! You look like Pee Wee Herman a little bit!”
The actor immediately busts up laughing.
The video’s description said the solo was Gordon-Levitt’s submission for “Everyday, Spectacular” feature being compiled for the actor’s media collaboration project, hitRECORD.
