Presidential playlist: Obama picks a little pop, a little hip hop for summer listening

Earbuds in, the jamming begins.

The White House released President Barack Obama’s summer playlist Thursday during the first family’s vacation on Martha’s Vineyard.

The commander in chief’s list included some classic Beach Boys — “Good Vibrations” — and Prince’s “U Got the Look.” Jumping ahead to this century, he’s listening to “Classic Man” by Jidenna and Corinne Bailey Rae’s “Green Aphrodisiac.”

The full list of 39 songs is broken down into daytime and nighttime categories.
