Main Street Minute: Valley teachers can get free treat, burger chain offering dollar scoops

KTAR’s Main Street Minute focuses on local businesses that are hiring, opening and hosting events across the community. These stories air each weekday at 7:23 a.m.

• McDonald’s mobile app is giving local teachers a back-to-school treat Monday. Teachers who download the app get a free medium McCafe beverage.

• To celebrate National Frozen Custard Day, fast-food chain Culver’s is serving up $1 single scoops of fresh frozen custard in a cake cone or dish. There are over a dozen locations in the Valley.

• Grabbagreen is expanding its local presence. The Phoenix Business Journal reports the Scottsdale-based fast-casual concept will open its sixth location by the end of the year. The latest spot will be located near Gilbert Road and Loop 202.
