OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) – An Oklahoma police captain says he fatally shot a teenager last year because he feared for his life.
The Oklahoman reports (

Harrison has pleaded not guilty to first-degree manslaughter. He faces up to life in prison if convicted.
Prosecutors say the officer became so fixated on Scott that he finally crossed the line, shooting him in the back at a time when he posed no threat to anyone. The defense says the shooting was justified.
Prosecutors called 13 witnesses before resting Friday. Harrison will resume his testimony Monday.
