LYNCHBURG, Va. (AP) – Officials say Liberty University is operating normally after a campus police officer shot and killed a student at an off-campus dormitory.
The Lynchburg school said the shooting overnight Tuesday followed an altercation with men students at the women’s-only residential hall. The shooting is under investigation by the Lynchburg Police Department.
Police Lt. Dave Gearhart told The News & Advance (
