GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (AP) – A homeless veteran whose makeover video has been viewed 15 million times online was arrested for causing a disturbance at a Burger King in Grand Rapids.
James Allen Wolf was arrested Sunday at the fast-food restaurant and pleaded guilty Monday to misdemeanor charges of trespassing and creating a disturbance. A judge ordered Wolf to serve 10 days in jail on each charge.
The time-lapse makeover video brought international attention to the 54-year-old veteran. Rob Bliss worked with Degage Ministries to bring about Wolf’s physical transformation.
The video shows an unkempt Wolf transform into a sharp-dressed, neatly trimmed man.
The Grand Rapids Press reports (
