NEW YORK (AP) – Children weren’t the only ones in New York City who dressed up for Halloween: The Empire State Building put on a light show, complete with “spooky” colors and music.
Marc Brickman, the landmark building’s lighting designer, says Thursday night’s show was created with about 15,000 channels of LED lighting.
The colors spanned from the 72nd floor all the way up to the antennae. The nine-minute show included a mix of five songs.
Brickman says the lights on the 102-story skyscraper could be seen as far as away as Connecticut.
