2 shot near Tenn. naval base, suspect in custody

An armed man wounded two service people in a shooting at a Navy facility in Tennessee on Thursday.
The suspect is in custody and according to the Navy, injuries to the soldiers were not life-threatening. The Associated Press reported that the suspect is a Navy recruiter who had been relieved of duty.

The base in Millington, near Memphis, was temporarily locked down, but has since been reopened.
More than 7,500 military, civilian and
contract personnel work at Naval Support Activity Mid-South, according to the facility website.
